Alrighty there it is. Number 2 still continues to baffle me. If anyone wants to contribute or correct my shoddy translations, please do (nicely).

-Author's Notes-

1)The first line, I'm guessing, is a cross into American culture. He starts out with Ohisashi[buri] in hirigana which means "It's been a while", but he changes into katakana and makes it "Buritonii". Ohisashiburitoni*Supiko. I believe this is a reference to Britney Spears (Buritonii Supiarusu), the American singer who is currently pregnant. "-ko" means "child, or children"; the "Ko" in "Ko-Miyavi" (his fanclub) is the same kanji. -ko is also the ending to girl's names. So it's a pun. Miyavi is referencing to his readers as Britney Spear's children, I think. Be very afraid.

2)Note, Miyavi doesn't actually *tell us* what he's reopening.

4)Tu-ka- is "the name of a KDDI mobile phone operation", although I have no idea what that means ^^x; Also, the word used for "personal use" was written in hirigana, not kanji, which means I can't tell which one out of the several definitions Miyavi wants me to pick. The closest were "personal use" and "very important". So obviously, this phone means alot to him. And he lost it =P

Alrighty there it is. Number 2 still continues to baffle me. If anyone wants to contribute or correct my shoddy translations, please do (nicely).

1) KoMiyavi is the official Miyavi fanclub. Gackt has Dears, Dir en Grey has the knot, and Miyavi has KoMiyavi. Miyashi is the overseas fanclub, don't forget.

3) Tanabata is a holiday in Japan, more information here:

6) Miyavi wrote this in a way that "heavy objects" is in reference to things that go "clunk". I think the poor man is running out of places to put all of the things his fans send him ^^x; Also, as I've had trouble with this, it drives the postal service nuts when you send bulky items in envelopes (unless it's a mailing envelope). Sometimes they confiscate items if they find it suspicious, and I wonder if Miyavi is asking his fans this so nothing gets confiscated and their efforts aren't wasted?

7) In theory, if you put something heavy in an envelope you are gonna have to secure it well (which isn't always easy) so nothing rips open during transit. Therefore, it's gonna be hard to open right?

8) I don't know the meaning of the @ here...

9)He wrote his name a "Miyahoshisama". Miya = short for Miyavi, hoshi = star/constellation, and -sama is his favourite ending for himself. It's like the equivalent of -san", which is "Mr.", only -sama means "lord/master". When referring to yourself, as Miyavi *often* does, it's kinda saying how narcisstic and great he is. How cute *^^*

2) Thank you to khukuri for their insight here. "When I was in Japan, they were using maru(katakana) as slang for "good". Like... put your thumb and index finger together to make a circle, that was a sort of thumbs up, "awesome!" sort of gesture you'd make to someone." The Ko part I believe is in reference to Ko Miyavi, his official fanclub. "Ko" is offspring. His offspring ^^ The "ya" is just something random Meevers put in.

1)"daze" was written in hirigana, meaning it's foreign. My dictionary said "daze" but it could be "day". 2nd day, or 2nd daze. Miyavi is doing a tour where he does two in one day. I think it's a pun.

2) Basically he's saying that although it [practice, I'm guessing] was an easy victory, piece of cake, his knees are laughing at him cause it was obviously not. I bet in addition to his sore hips noted from the earlier Melutomo, his knees hurt as well and doesn't wanna admit it~

3)This is a weird sentence. "Ohoho" and "tohoho" are sound effects of laughter. So he's saying that alot of people were laughing at practice, probably at Miyavi. If anyone makes an "ohoho Merry Christmas" joke I'll hurt you~ (just kidding!)

1) I couldn't translate this sentence out well. It has something to do with since it was hot, everyone was moving really slowly. When they broke down the door there was with a burst of illumination aka light. If you guys have every watched hoaky anime, when there is a burst of power there is a flash of light. Here's the Japanese, if anyone want to take a whack at it: "”M‹C‚ŏƖ¾‚ªƒu‚Á‰ó‚ê‚ÄŒuŒõ“”‚ɂȂ낤‚Æ..."

2) What would a Miyavi entry be without a pun? "Tanoshii" is the Japanese for "fun". They pronounce C as in "shii" cause that can't make that "si" sound easily. So, "tanoC" = "tanoshii". I don't know what that @ is doing there.

And he didn't sign his name ^^ Poor thing, exhausted.

1) "Yappari Megumi ga Suki" is a song Miyavi sang on a the LFX show on June 29, 2005. Translation: "As expected I love Megumi". Megumi, I think, is the show's host's wife or something like that. Don't worry, there isn't a relationship~ Miyavi may of made up this song on the spot, actually.

2) The term used here was "naranu". It shows up in poetry, especially haiku, and Japanese idoms. According to an old website that is no longer there, NARANU is the archaic form for the negative DE NAI. "de nai" means "not" or "un-". I found a second meaning as well. According to wikitravel.org/en/Yaeyama_phrasebook, it's a term from the Yaeyama dialect of Japan. It means "bad". If anyone has another way of translating it, let me know.

3) This is a pun based off the song "Yappari Megumi Ga Suki". It means, "As expected, I love this house". It could be a real song, I don't know, I'm too tired to look it up.

6) "hi hi" is a Japanese sound effect. I believe it's "hee hee" as in high pitched laughter, but there seems to be nothing in this diary entry to laugh about...
7) "Œ¾‚킹" or "Iwase" gave me alot of problems. I think sentence came out kinda well, actually.
8) Uh... yeaah... another bad guess. *sighs* Miyavi wrote his name in a special way, though. Usually he uses the kanji from the adjective "miyabi", "‰ë", to express his name. However, most Japanese names have a kanji for each syllable or a pair of syllables. This is how he wrote it: –£–é”ü.
–£ = mi or mii: charm, bewitch, fascination
–é = ya or yo: night or evening
ӟ = bi or mi or utsuku(shii): beauty, beautiful
So, "a night beauty who bewitches you". This is probably not Miyavi's real name. Don't tell people it is!

Yah, this thing's kind of really long. fynoda and I were working on it for awhile and having it drive us crazy until I decided to go bug my friend Ken to help us and have it drive him crazy too. lol Thanks Ken! He did most of it, but I helped some with phrasings and some of the notes and organization. The most complicated part was the paragraph toward the beginning. It's not just a paragraph, it's one gimongous run on sentence. @.@
